The 3rd project meeting in Klaipeda

The 3rd project meeting in Klaipeda July 23, 2009 took place in connection to the conference “Preserving Maritime Heritage”: Experiences and Opportunities of the Lithuanian Sea Museum July 24-25, 2009.

Beside administrational issues, such as concluding the 1st reporting and planning of the next project meeting  - layout drafts of the project website have been presented for a final decision of the SeaSiders. Furthermore, the working group of component 3 (museum network) introduced the fixed dates of the upcoming travelling exhibition 1sea4stories

Gdansk                September 10, 2010 – November 30, 2010
Karlskrona           December 15, 2010 – until March, 2011

Planning to the travelling exhibition a lot of aspects have to be focused on. The design, production, logistics and promotion activities of the touring exhibition will be an upcoming matter of this working group.

The fourth project meeting will take place in Berlin March 8th - March 11th, 2010 connected to a fair visit ITB Berlin. On the second day of the meeting SeaSiders have attended the TUR Gothenburg in Sweden either as visitors or as exhibitors. Either way this has been a great chance to get in touch with tour operators not only for know-how exchange, which can be useful for planned product packaging, but also to promote their region as SeaSide destination
