"1Sea - 4Stories" opened in Rostock
The exhibition group of the SeaSide project mastered one of their main challenges by setting up a common international travelling exhibition, which is one of a kind.
On July 18, 2010 "1Sea - 4Stories" was opened at the first exhibition location - the Maritime Museum Rostock. Speeches, held by representatives of all four involved museums and by Karina Jens (chairwoman of township/ Hanseatic City of Rostock), have been the solemn starter of an exhibition focusing on four different topics of South Baltic Maritime Cultural Heritage, such as:
- The Development of the Sailing Ship in the Baltic - by the Maritime Museum Rostock
- Underwater Archaeology in Poland - by the Polish Maritime Museum
- The Baltic - Beyond the Horizon: Personal Stories from the Cold War - by the Swedish Naval Museum
- The Sailing Fleet of Klaipeda - by the Lithuanian Sea Museum
Everyone is welcome to come by and view this masterwork. "1Sea - 4Stories" can be visited in Rostock until September 12, 2010, before it will travel to the next exhibition location - the Polish Maritime Museum in Gdansk.
